The process of the new Norprint logo…
We had to keep in mind that Norprint is primarily a printing company that deals with many huge contracts with train companies and even Tesco. So we sketched around coming up with many ideas and we settled on these below:

We thought the second logo (two in from the left) looked exactly how a corporate printers company logo should look. The four CMYK colours were always involved in printing so we incorporated this into the logo.
The final logo involved the four CMYK droplets of ink to symbolize that Norprint is a printing company of some sort. So what we did was use four droplets of ink and rotated them, which looked okay but still needed something doing to it; so we cut off about half of the droplets and placed partly red and blue Norprint text next to it which resulted in the second logo. We were happy with this logo but thought that we could do better than this. We experimented with the logo and, by accident, formed the symbol of the final logo and we thought that that is it!
The next day we showcased our work to the Norprint group director and he was stunned with what we came up with. He chose the final logo:
We would like to know your thoughts on this logo and if you think it’s better than the ‘before’ one.
Until next time.
